All Night Cinema - Just Jack

It has been a while, but don't worry I am still here and I am still lame.

Only now I am reporting to you from a shiny new iMac desktop computer. I am now the proud owner of a happy little mac family.

It was a birthday present which means that yes, I am in fact now yet another year older. Which is supposed to mean I am wiser and that I have soaked up much information about the world around me and how it works. I have not.

I haven't been up to very much that is particularly exciting. I've been trying to stay afloat in the sea of journalism and somehow manage to become more aware of what is actually happening in the world. I've read the newspaper regularly, tweeted during Q&A and I've even conducted interviews. I still feel a bit like an awkward child though. Hopefully the feeling with pass with time (and not too much of it).

I've been shopping like crazy as usual and enjoying being able to wear cute winter coats and knitwear again. I've also been eating far too much sugar. Trips to Max Brenner with my friends combined with boxes upon boxes of rainbow flavoured nerds have gotten me to the point where I experience a come down when I stop eating sugar.

I'm still spending lots of time with my boyfriend and the cat. In short I am boring as ever! 

I'm not entirely sure why it has taken me so long to blog. I was toying with the idea of starting a new blog that would presumably be more wordy, and then I felt bogged down with university responsibilities and I didn't end up doing very much at all. I think I'll stick around this blog for a while though, but I'm going to possibly make some changes to content, like less pretty/pointless photos and more of my stupid anecdotes about the weird shit that happens to me, maybe more book reviews (does anyone remember when I used to do those?) and possibly a few mixtapes here and there.
